On one machine alone, the lumbar exercise machine, Jones reportedly spent 100 million dollars on its development.
The equipment is on the high side price wise. You will see it in some physically therapy facilities and some NFL weight rooms. You will not see this equipment in most health clubs. It is not common to see the equipment for sale on the secondary market. The resale value is high because of the high quality, and MedX Corporation at times buys back their own equipment off the secondary market to maintain demand in their primary market. It is virtually indestructible and depreciates little.
The capabilities of MedX equipment are unprecedented. Repetitions on MedX equipment have a smoothness that can't be matched.
The movement arms of the machines track the natural movement of the human limbs resulting in less likelihood of injury. It can be used by those undergoing rehab and elite athletes. MedX equipment has been especially valuable for those with back problems.
