Cheese addicting?

A quote from this LA Times article, Cheese really is crack. Study reveals cheese is as addictive as drugs:

Cheese happens to be especially addictive because of an ingredient called casein, a protein found in all milk products. During digestion, casein releases opiates called casomorphins; "[Casomorphins] really play with the dopamine receptors and trigger that addictive element,"

And this:

The study found certain foods are addictive because of the way they are processed. The more processed and fatty the food, the more it was associated with addictive eating behaviors.

One of the rewards of following a good diet is the luxury of splurging every once in a while without going off the rails to good health. What better place to do it than New Orleans. This aptly titled article 23 Truly Unbelievable Dishes Found Only In NOLA places Dat Dog’s Alligator Dog & Crawfish Étouffé Fries number one of the list.

Dat Dog is just up the street from our New Orleans location, New Orleans Fitness Training  I try to stop there every time I visit New Orleans.  At our other location, Austin Fitness Training, we’ll settle for good BBQ.
